A human has never been cloned before. This is because of the great number of cons that go with it. Because of all these cons cloning is prohibited in many countries. A lot of religious people are against it as well, making it nearly impossible to clone a human without getting loads and loads of negative feedback. 

 

Most countries do allow scientists to research therapeutic cloning. Since this is the only real chance for scientists to clone it is widely researched and has made some great advances. Nowadays we can clone human organs to use in medical world. Cloning is taking big steps and it may even take the biggest step and succesfully clone a human, you never know.
